Video Game Burnout

Jul 05, 2008

Not the actual game, Burnout, I'm talking about playing something so much that you reach a point where you don't really feel like playing anymore. I've finished most of GTA4, except for the stupid pigeon killing missions and about half of the stunt jumps. It wasn't that GTA4 was taking up a lot of my time, but I was spending a couple hours each night playing COD4. Lately, because of all the school kids having the summer off, they've been there have been some issues with lag on the servers. It makes the game less fun when it doesn't behave like it should--as you expect it to. So, I'm kind of taking an unofficial hiatus from gaming for a little bit. It's not all that bad, it frees me up to get active in the nicer summer weather (though, it's been raining entirely too much the last week and a half and doesn't look like it's going to let up this week).

Oh well, if anyone has any ideas to get oot and aboot until chilly falls arrive in Ohio again, I'm all ears.
